Privacy notice
The short version: the only personal data we hold is what you choose to send us about your enquiry, we use it solely to respond to that enquiry, and we delete it once it has served its purpose.
Who we are
CyPro Consulting Ltd operates GDPR Consultancy and this website, and delivers the service through its in-house data protection consultants. For any personal data submitted on gdprconsultancy.co.uk, CyPro Consulting Ltd acts as the data controller.
What we collect, and why
Submitting the enquiry form or booking a call passes us the fields you complete: your name, work email address, company, an optional phone number and whatever you tell us about your data protection needs. That information is held for two purposes only: to respond to your enquiry, and to carry out any GDPR or data protection work you go on to instruct. Your details are never added to a marketing list, sold on, or handed to other organisations to use for their own ends.
Cookies
Nothing beyond the essentials loads until you agree on the consent banner: no analytics and no optional cookies. If you do allow analytics, they serve a single purpose, telling us which pages readers actually use. Declining has no bearing on how the site behaves for you.
Spam protection
The enquiry form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells genuine visitors apart from automated traffic by weighing up technical indicators from your visit, such as your IP address and browser characteristics. Cloudflare, acting as our processor, describes this activity in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Retention
We hold onto your enquiry details while the conversation, or any data protection engagement that grows out of it, is still running. Once that has concluded, they are deleted in line with CyPro Consulting Ltd's retention schedule.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you hold the complete range of rights: to access the data we hold, to have it rectified or deleted, to limit the way it is used, or to object to the processing altogether. To exercise any of them, get in touch through the contact page and we will act on your request promptly.
