Is this the same as an outsourced data protection officer?
No. This is project consultancy: our consultants deliver defined pieces of data protection work such as DPIAs, records of processing, policies, training and audit support, scoped and fixed-fee. A data protection officer is a distinct, ongoing statutory role under the UK GDPR, and appointing one is a separate arrangement from the project work described here. We keep the two apart deliberately, so you buy the support you actually need.
How is a data protection consultancy priced?
As fixed-fee project work, scaled by organisation size and data complexity, published up front. A single DPIA starts from £1,450, and broader programmes are scoped from there, with an indicative day rate available for ad-hoc advisory that does not fit a fixed scope. The whole market is quote-only, so publishing indicative prices is deliberate: you can plan before you speak to anyone, and the figure is confirmed at scoping.
